The DCDA is a nonprofit organized in 1984 by David Smith, MD, to provide diabetes related services to the Delaware County Residents. It originally was a chapter of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, but in 2004 DCDA became a independent organization not affiliated with any other national or state diabetic agency. In addition to Dr.Smith, other leaders of the organization have included Gerald Kremer MD; Barb Wolfe; and now Jane Graebner.
